  • IS THERE A CLOAK ROOM?
    We have a secure, serviced cloakroom for storage jackets, bags and any other items (such as skateboards, suitcases etc). The cloakroom is located in the "Office", to the left of the entrance. We also have a secure phone charging station, located within the cloakroom. Cost: $5 per item $10 for phone charging (fast-charge service) Eftpos is available at the cloakroom, we prefer payment by card so please have your card and phone ready Each item is allocated a cloak tag. We prefer that you take a photo of your cloak tag with your phone where possible so please have your phone and card ready.
  • IS THERE FOOD AVAILABLE?
    For some events, G'Day tacos provide fresh hot tacos for the duration of each event. Vegetarian and vegan options are available. Please see the menu below. If food is not available for purchase, you are welcome to have food delivered and eat inside the venue at the tables provided. (i.e Uber Eats). Please instruct the delivery driver to deliver your food to security staff at the door. The address for delivery is 5-7 Louvain Street, Coburg North.
  • ARE PASS OUTS ALLOWED?
    No passouts are allowed after 9pm. This is a permit condition and not something the venue enforces voluntarily. We provide many facilities to accomodate this requirement, such as: - Secure serviced cloak room & storage room (for clothing, bags, scooters, skateboards etc) - Secure phone charging service - Non-smoking outdoor area - Two outdoor smoking areas - Large lounge room/chill area with couches to relax away from the loud/dancefloor area - Fresh hot food available for purchase. If food is not available for purchase on site, you are welcome to have food delivered and eat inside the venue at the tables provided. (i.e Uber Eats). Please instruct the delivery driver to deliver your food to security staff at the door. - A wide range of alcoholic and non-alholic drinks available - Over 1400 square metres of floor space with a 6 metre tall ceiling and plenty of natural ventilation. Even at full capacity there is still a huge amount of space to spread out. Please bring in any items with you when you arrive. We appreciate your understanding :)
  • IS THERE AN ATM ON SITE?
    No. To maintain a high standard of hygiene, there is no ATM onsite. The venue prefers cashless transactions and there are EFT facilities at the door, cloakroom, bar and food stall. If you wish to pay by cash, please ensure you bring cash with you.
  • ARE THERE EFTPOS FACILITIES?
    YES. We prefer contactless transactions so please use your card wherever you can. We have eftpos terminals at the bar, door and cloak room.
  • OPERATING HOURS
    Operating hours differ for each event. On a Friday and Saturday night, the venue closes between 1am and 3am. On a Sunday, the venue closes between 11pm and 1am.
  • IS THERE WHEELCHAIR ACCESS?
    Yes all areas of the venue are fully accessible by wheelchair. The accessible toilet is located next to the male and female toilets to the rear of the venue.
  • WHAT TYPE OF EVENTS DO YOU HOST?
    Live music, bands, corporate & private functions, staff parties, birthday parties (25+ only), bucks parties, hens parties, film & photo shoots, engagement parties
  • COVID SAFE MEASURES IN PLACE
    The Industrique implements all possible measures to ensure a covid safe environment, such as: 1400 square metres of open floor space with two outdoor areas and ample room to sociallly distance even at the venue's full capacity; 600 square metre dancefoor space to enable social distancing even on the dancefloor hand soap and hand sanitizing stations placed in all bathrooms and many other common areas of the venue; all areas of the venue are open with measures in place to avoid any congestion; all events are ticketed in addition to a QR code system in place; the entire venue is professionally & cleaned and all areas, surfaces and toilets are steralised after each event; additional outdoor toilets are provided to ensure minimal congestion in the main venue toilet blocks; cashless transactions are preferred and we provide eftpos facilities at the bar, door and cloak room. Please avoid cash transactions where possible; and we do not provide an ATM on site.

  • WHAT IS THE VENUE CAPACITY?
    Big capacity to suit almost all events.
  • IS THERE AN OUTDOOR SMOKERS AREA?
    Yes, we have sheltered and unsheltered outdoor areas for smokers located at the rear of the venue and at the front. We also provide a non smoking outdoor area.
  • WHAT ARE THE CLOSEST PUBLIC TRANSPORT OPTIONS?
    We encourage our punters to use public transport and have many public transport options available close by. - Train: 7 minute walk to Batman Station (Upfield line). This will take you straight into CBD and runs all day and night.​ - Tram 19: 7 minute walk to Sydney Road tram stop number 19 which runs all day and night.​ - Bus 534: 2 minute walk to Gaffney Street (Cnr Mercier Street)​Bus 527: 5 minute walk to Ohea Street (Cnr Jersey Street)​ - Bus 513, 561 & 903: 7 minute walk to Bell Street (Cnr Davis Street) - Airport: We are 20 minute drive to Tullamarine Airport. The cost in an Uber for this trip is approximately $26.
  • IS THERE AN OUTDOOR AREA?
    Yes, there are two outdoor areas at the front and rear of the venue.
  • IS THERE PARKING AVAILABLE?
    Yes, plenty of off-street parking right out front or within 1 minutes walk on the following streets: Louvain Street, Lens Street, Roosevelt Street & Charles Street.
  • WHERE CAN I BUY TICKETS TO EVENTS?
    Tickets for our events can be purchased via our facebook page here.
  • ARE UNDER 18'S ALLOWED?
    No, no under 18's are allowed.
  • IS THERE A LOST PROPERTY?
    Yes, we hold on to lost property items for 1 month after each event. Please contact bookings@theindustrique.com with a description of your lost property. If not contact is made, these will be donated to the salvation army.
  • WHAT DAYS CAN I BOOK THE EVENT SPACE?
    We are available for booking 7-days a week.
  • HOW MANY BARS ARE THERE?
    There are two bars. A large main bar and cocktail bar.
  • HOW MANY ROOMS ARE THERE?
    Two, main room and side room.
